Wendy Auzqui was raised on a ranch in Wyoming. This is where she developed a life-long passion for horses and cowboying. She started her first colt when she was 15. She says it wasn’t anything to “write home about” but she got the job done. From then on colt starting was all Wendy thought about. She has now been training horses and starting colts for 23 years. She has come along way since that first little yellow colt. Since then she has expanded her way of thinking and feels like she has become successful at communicating with horses and people. Wendy would love to share all her hard learned lessons with people that want to train their horse with love and confidence. She hopes her bumps and bruises over the years can save others the same pitfalls when starting colts. Wendy’s goal is to help people and their horses become confident and willing partners.
Wendy and her husband John live and work on a cattle and sheep ranch near Clearmont, Wyoming. Besides riding colts, Wendy helps with the family ranch and competes in Team-roping events.
